Imagine the famous song by John Lennon.

I often think about what John Lennon would have thought if he had been
able to enjoy the experience of magical Lake Eildon on a magnificent holiday home
in one of the most beautiful, serene and peaceful places in the world.
Lake Eildon is the happy place, the peaceful place for so many that
love and feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy this special place with family
and friends.
These themes were very much in the owners’ mindsets when they built “Imagine”
in 2013. After many years of experience on Lake Eildon, they designed their
ideal family holiday home. They engaged leading professional houseboat builder,
Status Luxury Houseboats, to build their dream. It has incorporated all the
quality items and fit out that you expect on a Status built houseboat.
Construction
of Imagine commenced before the new size regulations came into effect and she
was completed in the new era. This enabled the design of Imagine to be
stretched to provide extra living space, especially on the rear decks.
Imagine has a beautiful external appearance with the lines and shape of
the houseboat; then the large tinted windows and the composite aluminium
external cladding providing a striking appearance.
Walk
on board and you can feel the vibes with the high ceiling, large windows and
open layout. The helm, the internal stairs and the cathedral like upper windows
are a special feature.
Imagine sitting up to the island servery for breakfast with this view.
The Caesar Stone Benchtops are just beautiful.
This flows into the spacious rear lounge with the wide opening stacker
doors embracing the rear deck. You will notice the difference the extra length
makes to the enjoyment of this space.
At this level there are three bedrooms; a bunkroom for the grandchildren
and two bedrooms with queen walkaround beds. These are serviced by a very well
presented bathroom.
Walking up this magnificent staircase takes you to another level. A remote
helm to drive the houseboat from up here taking in magical beauty of Lake
Eildon as you seek out your secluded inlet.
Then another full kitchen and servery with a choice of dining settings.
My choice would be on the rear deck. Imagine dining whilst watching a brilliant
sunset and then the full moon rise over the mountains; just spectacular and so
beautiful.
At this level is the Master Bedroom with a queen walkaround front view
bed. Just imagine waking up to this view. A second bathroom services the upper
level.
Imagine was slipped in Nov 2023 and comes with a 2023 GMW CHIR. The
Solar Electrics on Imagine are high quality with a state of the art Selectronic
SP PRO Series Inverter/Charger System; 12 Gel Batteries; Victron Energy Smart
Solar Charge Controller; all fed by 3KW (11) of Solar Panels. This is all
backed up by a quiet large auto-start Onan Marine Diesel Generator of 11kva. This
is a quality solar electric system.
Important to note, the motor is also diesel with a Mercruiser QSD 225hp
4cyl Turbo-Diesel Motor with a Mercruiser Bravo 2 Leg. Yes, there is a Bow
Thruster to aide manoeuvrability.
Note
: the owner has permitted the Houseboat
Industry to trial a new Grey Water Treatment System on the houseboat; it is hoped
the new owner will enable this trial to continue.
Imagine is a magnificent, beautiful holiday home. She has an excellent
layout for a family to enjoy. She is extremely well presented. In my opinion,
she presents really good value for money.
Lake Eildon is the happy place, the peaceful place for so many that
love Lake Eildon.
