SOJOURN:
Lake Eildon is idyllic at this time of the year, and you might be just
thinking with all the hassles of life you could do with some time out, so let’s
just escape for just a few days to your happy place.
You
will need a venue for your idyllic sojourn lost amongst mountains with the sun
dancing on the water at sunset.
Sojourn the holiday home on magical Lake Eildon is ideal for your short
breaks whatever the time of the year and whatever the weather.
Built in the early 1990’s by reputable professional houseboat builder Ian
Kemp Marine, you know it is a well built houseboat. Then in 2014, Sojourn
underwent a major refurbishment with the addition of a new enclosed top deck
with tinted glass windows and rear stacker doors.
This provides an excellent relaxation/entertainment space with Day Beds
to the front, a well appointed kitchen, a dining area to enjoy the views and
the back deck to sit back and take in the vibes.
At water level, Sojourn has the rear lounge opening onto a good sized
rear deck with hydraulic duckboard. Sit up to the kitchen servery for breakfast
or jump on the couch to watch your favourite sporting show.
Sojourn has a master bedroom with a queen walkaround bed and a large
wardrobe. The second bedroom with the front view has a single over double bed
bunk. If you require more bedding the couch behind the helm becomes a third
bedroom. This is serviced by a well appointed bathroom.
Sojourn has very good Solar Electrics with an Outback Inverter and
Solar Charge Controller fed by 8 Solar Panels. The Sonnenschein A600 Solar Gel
Batteries were new in August 2022; many years of life in them. This system is
backed up by a reliable Quicksilver 8kva Generator.
Sojourn is powered a Mercruiser 470hp 4 cylinder motor with a Bravo 2 Leg.
Most importantly there is a Bow Thruster to aide manoeuvrability.
The other important thing to note, Sojourn was slipped in March 2025
and a new GMW CHIR was issued. You have 5 to 7 years before she has to come out
of the water again.
Sojourn is a beautifully presented holiday home on the water of magical
Lake Eildon. A lot of work has gone into the interior design and d?cor
presentation. Time to get away again for that short break, Sojourn could be the
idyllic solution for you!!!
