Oh, hi! I'm Katara, a very sweet, affectionate girl looking for a very special home. I am absolutely full of beans, so I will need owners who are experienced with dogs in general, and will be dedicated to enroll me in puppy school with ongoing positive training.
I am a confident dog with a high play drive, and I can get a lil over excited sometimes so my owner will need to moderate my play. I am a very active girl so I will need to be provided with loads of mental and physical enrichment, daily, some great examples that I like are snufflemats, kongs, wobblers or any types of toys that give out treats. I am a very smart girl who is always willing to learn and have done well in training but you must be willing to continue this!
I will need a calm, consistent and predictable household who can
reinforce calm behaviours and manners.
My future home will need to be with mature teens only, so if you have kids we wouldn't quite work! I could potentially live with another social OLDER, MALE dog pending a meet and greet. I would love plenty of enrichment and activities when I am left alone. My home will strictly need to be without smaller pets such as cats, pocket pets like bunnies or birds. I am currently in a foster home where my adoption will take place, with the help from the Behaviour Team, who will provide additional information, advice and training during my settling in period in the home.
