DESCRIPTION

A fit and active owner who can commit to twice daily on-lead walks in quiet areas is what Harvey needs. He is a strong dog with a confident personality and as such Harvey needs a very experienced dog owner who is familiar with the breed as he is confident in his ability and will challenge people and dogs over ownership of toys and food objects.
Around the shelter Harvey has been reactive with other dogs and for this reason, as well as his innate high prey drive, we recommend he is adopted into a single pet household only.
Rewards-based training will help him learn to share his treasures - this will be necessary and our staff can provide you with training tips on the topic of resource guarding.

Due to COVID19 lockdown restraints, we have revised our current adoption process which is now by application only. Due to staffing and time constraints, it may not be possible to notify you if the animal has already been adopted or if your application is unsuccessful.
