Hey lovely people, my names Pookie, I am a sweet old lady who is looking for a loving forever home to spend the rest of my days. Ever though I am classed as a senior I still have a little hoop in my step and oh so much love to give. I can still be a bit nervous with new people and males more so, so if you do have males in the home it would be best if they can come to meet me first in a nice neutral environment. Also we are unsure if I have met many children before so it would also be good if any kids can meet me first too!

When it comes to other dogs I have lived with one before and also socialized with some, however I do still prefer my own space too. I could be the right match for another dog that's a bit older but I don't think I would want to live with anyone too young and bouncy. So if you have another dog at home and could be a good match feel free to bring them along.

Even though I am on the older side I do still enjoy a stroll around the neighborhood. I would probably want avoid dog parks and super busy areas as I can get overwhelmed when there is a lot going on and prefer some nice piece and quiet.
