Hi everybody, my name is Karma! I am a super sweet but shy older lady in search of a special family to call my own.

I have found myself at the due to no fault of my own, and I must admit I was a bit of a nervous Nellie to start! My shelter parents gave me lots of love and patience and I am slowly coming out of my shell to reveal my beautiful personality.

I am looking for a home where someone will be home more often than not, and where I will be allowed to live inside - this will be a non-negotiable for me! When I am left on my own outside, I can get very worried without my people. I definitely prefer the indoors and settle much better there, outside is too tempting for me to go on adventures! When I am unsupervised or left alone, I will need to be inside to be kept happy.

I try my best to be brave, but am still a little on the nervous side. My new family will need to understand to go slow with me and let me warm up to them in my own time. Once I get to know you, I will love you forever! I haven't met many children before and due to my shy nature, I would be much more comfortable in a home without any young children.

I will need some time to settle in to my new home so I am hoping my new family can give me that time to get used to everything at my pace and take all my new experiences slowly and in the most positive way possible! I'm looking forward to learning all about enrichment items, I hear they are great fun and great for my brain and will keep me very busy! When I am ready, I would love to get some help from a force-free trainer to help me build my confidence and social skills! This means I can learn using positive and up-to date methods and not feel scared.

I have met other dogs before, but can be selective about who I am friends with and I much prefer my own space. At this stage my family thinks it's best for me to be the only animal at home. To keep everyone safe and happy, I can not live with any cats or small animals.
