It retail ast $1,999 and we have it reduced to only $1,399 The Mesa Boogie Subway D800 was just arrived and is simply amazing. Weighing under 2.5 kg and yet with enough power to do a large gig. Mesa have released 2 new ultra light cabinets to go with the new head. They are also incredible. Super light and yet amazing sounding. As you would expect, they are both in stock also at Music Park, the Home Of Mesa Boogie in Perth. They are the Subway Ultra-Lite 15 and the Subway Ultra-lite 12. If you have always wantd a Mesa Boogie bass rig and not quite had the dollars, this might change things. In the time of smaller and smaller areas for bands, having gear this small and light is clearly an advantage. What you still get is Mesa's renowned quality both in sound and in reliability. Kael, who heads our Bass Department, has just tried out both the head and the new cabs and in one world it was....WOW!! He was simply blown away with the sound and could not believe how small and light it was when I told him the prices, he was amazed. the 15" is the same price as the Head and the 12" is $200 cheaper, so for Mesa, it really is super affordable.
