For added protection, Earthquake Marine Speakers are sealed in all areas. Cones are rubber coated for superior protection against the elements. Rubber seals completely isolate the frontal components for the driver from its enclosure. The motors are completely sealed with a molded UV-treated high temperature plastic exclusive to Earthquake Sound.
