Receives IR signals from a handheld IR remote control and relays this signal to the audio/video equipment for operation from another room. The receiver has a non-skid base and is placed on a flat surface.

FAQ

What are the distance restrictions when running IR from this device? We tested the Pro1183 IR block to the Pro1140 Inwall IR receiver. Between the devices, we used 50m of Pro2 patch leads and a total of 3 cat5e joiners (TEL5011) to simulate wall plates. The signal was passing reliably between the devices.
