DESCRIPTION

Solder tip brass curls are ideal for use with soldering irons that do not have a receptacle designed to hold brass wool.

Brass wool/curls are designed for cleaning excess solderand dirty flux residues from soldering iron tips. They are especially recommended for lead free processing where the temperatures are hotter than conventional lead based soldering.

As opposed to a wet sponge, a brass curl does not thermally shock the soldering iron tip
