The Ruark Audio R2i (formerly the Vita Audio R2i) is a beautifully designed, simple hi-fi system with superb sonics. Featuring DAB+ and FM tuners, a universal iPod dock and auxiliary inputs for connecting other equipment, the R2i is a great modern music system. If you find you have all your music on your iPod/iPhone, and you don't want the clutter of CD cases all over your living room, the R2i could be the perfect hi-fi for you.

Ruark also provide you with sleep and alarm timers on the R2i, making it an ideal bedside companion. Also included are stereo headphone and line outputs for private listening or connection to a larger hi-fi. For added convenience, there are two line inputs to connect audio sources with stereo analogue outputs.

*supports and charges all iPod models produced from January 2004. iPod Shuffle and earlier models are supported by front and rear auxiliary inputs. R2i also works with all iPhone models, but where a 3G signal is not available 'flight mode' may need to be selected to stop mobile phone interference. R2i works perfectly with the latest iPhone, Touch and Nano models with Lightning connector, but an adaptor is required (which is available directly from Apple) and also we recommend that Ruark's Lightning Adaptor Support (LAS) is used in order to avoid excess strain and possible breakage of the dock connector.
