DESCRIPTION

Loctite Blue Maxx Silicone Gasket Maker forms tough, flexible gaskets directly on flanges. It offers improved adhesion to oily surfaces and is three times more oil resistant than the conventional silicones. Low odour. Non-corrosive. Low volatility. Withstandds temperatures to +260 degrees celcius intermittent. Resistant to most chemicals and solvents. Fills gaps to 6mm.

Uses: Sealing gear castings, electrical boxes, valve/rocker covers, oil pans, rear axle housings, etc. Loctite 587 Blue Maxx is safe to use with oxygen sensor equipped vehicles.

NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with petrol.
