40g Dried Red Rose Buds ) Rosa rugosa( These dried rose buds are perfect for adding to your soaps for both colour and texture. A great addition for your DIY projects. Add ground rose buds to your soap mixture at trace, when the soap is just starting to thicken. This will help to prevent the rose buds from sinking to the bottom of the soap. Use only a small amount of rose buds in your soap recipe, as too much can make the soap feel gritty or scratchy. If you want to enhance the fragrance of your soap, consider adding a few drops of rose essential oil to the mixture along with the rose buds. While rose buds are generally considered safe for use in soap, they can be mildly irritating to sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, it's a good idea to do a patch test before using a soap containing rose buds.
