SUMMARY
Unique Retail Store In Robina Town Centre - Internet Site Included
DESCRIPTION
Phone enquiries - please quote property ID 13310
In 1984 we set up a family hat business, in Surfers Paradise and in 1992 we opened a second shop at Pacific Fair . The Surfers store was sold in 2007 and in 2009 the Pacific Fair store was relocated to Robina Town Centre where we changed the name. The store has become an icon on the Gold Coast and has continued to be a magnet for anyone seeking a hat. These shops have been run by the original owner for 27 years. Our website is well established and is building a devoted clientele. This site is user friendly and can be expanded to any size desired. The potential here is limited only by your imagination. The Store is an easy to run shop and has maintained staff for long periods of time due to the fun nature of the business.
Sales have been consistent and even increasing during a time considered to be tough for retailers. As the economy improves - as it must - sales should show an increasing rate of improvement.
The web site is part of the business and has huge potential. The site has a complete shopping cart system and we can accept all of the major cards as well as PayPal. It could easily be built up to be a stand alone business if you so desire. Our data base is growing all the time even though we devote very little time to it.
There is potential to create further sales in other markets such as the film industry, conventions, schools, golf clubs etc. We do receive orders from these sources at present but they could be expanded if we made an effort into fostering relations.
I am happy to stay on with the purchaser for a few weeks if they wish. The business is relatively simple and I would make sure that the purchaser understood it before'abandoning' them. I will also be available via email or phone well into the future.
I have owned and run this business since December 1984. It has given my children and myself a great lifestyle. I am a single parent and have had the income to support my 2 girls through private school, have several overseas family holidays, purchase a home and also have time off when necessary to be available for my children. Both girls have now left home and are living independently so now it is 'me' time! For many years I have wanted to do some volunteer work overseas. I hope to be able to pursue this in the near future.Australia,
