DESCRIPTION

The classification cards are made of thick laminated card and provide a series of pictures of individual items within a specific category. The Classification Cards - Building includes 2 sets of cards. The Control set contains the photo of a part of the Building Category and its name; the second set contains the photo of a part of the Building Category and a seperate name label.

The child develops a knowledge and appreciation of the concept of smaller parts making up are larger category, and is able to begin to simply classify items. They also develop language skills as they identify and label each part and can be inspired to explore the whole category or an individual part more fully as they choose.
