The Shimano Metanium MGL Baitcaster Reel 150HGB has been extensively tested by Shimano's field testers for over 12 months, putting it through extreme saltwater conditions to make it the best it can be. It uses a Magnesium CoreSolid body for incredible rigidity, sensitivity, and durability. The Magnumlite Spool III takes this up a notch by decreasing spool inertia by 17%.

Not only that, it has the new SVS system to further increase castability and control, by giving you a wide range of brake adjustment using the external dial. It has a Micro Module main gear with a solid brass construction, and uses Silent Tune tech which reduces vibration for a smooth reeling experience.
