Movie meal deal menuâs available to all screenings which are very popular and are charged at $28.00 per person. We also Host or hire out the venue for kiddies birthday parties or teenage party screenings, which are also very popular.
The coffee shop is licensed and seats 50+ customers comfortably and outside seating for another 30 customers.
We also support the community with Fund Raising nights for footy clubs and other sporting venues, schools and non for profit organisations. These ensure the cinema is patronised to its full potential.
Budget day Wednesday at this cinema ensures continuous day to day patronage.
Emerald is a rapidly growing township of 14,000+ people and is situated in the hub of the Central Highlands. The township is a very diverse industry base as it is in the centre of the Bowen Basin Coalfields and not far from the, soon to be developed, Galilee Basin Coalfields. In addition to coal other industries such as citrus, grapes and cotton, are all irrigated from the Fairbairn Dam. Also dry land farming and a thriving cattle industry.
The cinemas are in the heart of Emerald near Woolworths Shopping Centre and is surrounded by numerous motels. The recent floods in Emerald DID NOT come anywhere near the cinema.
A small family could easily run this cinema or a husband and wife team. The current owner remains closed on Monday and Tuesday as a lifestyle choice, but new owner will have the option to open on these two additional days.
