DESCRIPTION

Spent nearly $200,000.00 on this Kestrel 5 berth built in New Zealand beam 3.1metres , 33/34 foot overall length. Weight with trailer about 4 ton, 310 Litre diesel tank, 12Volt diesel transfer pump so you can empty the tank out if need be to work on.

The fuel efficiency on this motor is exceptional. Did a test run from VMR to Whitehaven then a stop at Marcona inlet and Nara inlet then back to VMR. Used 60 liters of diesel.

Tank sensor set at a level that tank has 60 liters of diesel left when gauge says empty .Has 2 x 100liter fibreglass tanks (either side of diesel tank)that were used for petrol.I soaked them for fresh water storage,no filter connected as I was going to use as wash down at the ramp. 2007 6lpa-sta2 315 Yanmar diesel engine rebuilt about 2014.(just under 200 hours) I added to it to match the 2019 Yanmar ZT370 leg so has new exhaust system fitted(2022) to suit.150amp alternator(Bosch 2022),rebuilt injector pump/new 2022,rebuilt oil cooler(12/12/2022).Multiple services so is immaculate engine for its age.Had the rocker arm cover off to see inside and have the valve spacing tested,perfect(01/08/2023) and inside around valves and under rocker arm cover, no rust. Immaculate condition. Has toilet(2019) , shower(not connected). New alloy roof strong enough for a dingy/storage or add a fly bridge. Heaps of head room(i am 6ft3),huge bow sprite .

All wiring to do with engine and to fuse boxes done by professionals and all wiring is tinned marine grade.

Drum winch is the Lone Star GX 2(The best winches I think) Huge duck board(2.1m x 1.1m) high canopy which is strong enough to walk on in the center and add solar panels on each side(i have a solar controller but not fitted). New transom(huge job and have pics of the process) done with thermalite(3 sheets of 15mm) and vacuum injected with west systems and 450 double bias (super strong). Have large off cuts of 15mm thermolite comes with boat.

Marine mechanic can be reference for engine.

Excellent for overnight with the family and excellent for fishing as has a big deck out back and big duck board.

Comes with a 4.5t rated alloy trailer with stainless steel calipers. Bearing done 6 months ago,

New AL KO break controller fitted November 2023(have receipt) and new lights and wiring harness( all cost just under $5000.00) which is registered, so no costly marina fees and maintenance fees .
