We recommend using a reel size of between 10,000-25,000 for this model rod or 6500-8000 size if you are using a brand other than Shimano.
Travel Model 733 SWSP - is a medium-heavy inshore and offshore rod so you can use it to target species like big mulloway in the lakes and rivers or use it off the boat offshore for a range of medium-heavy reef dwelling or surface feeding species. Use a reel size between an 8000 and 14,000 in the Shimano range or up to a 6000-6500 size in other reel brands
Travel Model 703SWSP - is a 5-10kg rated rod so again is ideal for inshore and offshore to target mulloway, kingfish, snapper and more. Pick a reel size between 4000-6000 for this size rod for a perfect match.
Travel Model 703SP Light - is a 3-5kg rod so more suited to inshore applications such as fishing in lakes and rivers to target bream, bass, flathead and other common estuary fish species. We recommend a reel size of 2500, 3000 to 4000 with this rod.
Travel Model 653 barra spin - is ideal for the northern parts of Australia however also make great inshore rods for lakes and rivers chasing mulloway or even work well as an offshore rod for light fishing for snapper and other reef fish. Best matched with a 4000 – 5000 sized reel.
Travel Model 904 Spin - is an excellent rod for rock fishing and other shore-based applications – best matched with a 4000, 5000, 40 or 50 sized fishing reel.

Offshore Model 762SW Spin – At 7ft 6 inches in length this is the maximum length for offshore boat fishing. It's great for casting lures and bottom bashing but also makes an excellent land-based spinning rod.
Reel size to use with the offshore 762SW would be a spinning reel between the sizes 6000-10000.
