This superlight, super aero race winning road bike is a Trek Madone 7 Series Project 1 hand made in the USA from TrekÕs very best OCLV 700 series carbon with KammTail Virtual Foil technology, fully integrated cabling and integrated brakes for the perfect blend of stiffness, weight reduction and aerodynamics! Built up with ShimanoÕs flagship Dura Ace 9000 11speed groupset and deep rimmed Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels this bike sits at under 7kgÕs and has similar air resistance to the best aero bikes out there. The H2 geometry means itÕs more relaxed so ideal for most nonprofessionals who want to go fast but not ruin their backs! Included in the sale are 2 GexuStar carbon bottle cages and if needed I can throw in a set of carbon Dura Ace SPD-SL pedals.
The frame size is 56cm and suitable for riders of 177 to 187 or 5ft10 to 6ft2
This 7 Series frame come with Bontrager RXXXL Aero full carbon bars (The lightest Bontrager makes) and Bontrager RXXXL carbon stem. The Specialized Power saddle is brand new and this is a new concept that according to Specialized is more comfortable for most riders. Dura Ace group comes with an 52/36 mid range crank set with 172.5mm crank arms and the rear cassette is a 12/28 climbing cassette so this bike is suitable for any terrain from the flats (where the aero shaped frame and aero wheels will excell) to the mountains (where the gearing and super light weight will be your best friend!).
The full bike is in excellent condition and in perfect working order and a few cosmetic signs of use but a fanatstic looking bike non the less (See pics!).
You could go to the shop and get a Trek Madone 5 series with mid specked gearing and parts, or for the same price you can ride the bike that the Trek Factory team rode in the Tour the France of 2014 built up with the best and latest groupset from Shimano and top of the range finishing kit all weighing in at under 7 kgÕs!
