Kong For Kids Swim School, north of Byron Bay, is unique in that it is the only swim school in the area that operates with a solar heated pool all year round. It is also located very close to Ocean Shores area, which is a growth area and a residential area of choice for many people with young families.

The business has been open since August 2008 in custom built premises.

The school has 2 indoor, heated, saltwater pools. The larger pool is 12mt x 6mt, the smaller pool is 6mt x 5mt and both have a level base with water height at approx 1.2mt.

The solar powered heating is boosted by gas. Water testing is conducted daily, and major testing regularly to ensure highest level of cleanliness and water purity. The two pools are filtered and heated separately.

The facilities are located in a warehouse, which has a total space of 198 mt square and on-site parking. This includes 1 toilet, 1 shower/toilet, 1 separate shower, 3 change rooms and a gated play area for little kids. There is also an office, which is 3.38mt x 4.48mt.

We have built up a solid customer base over the last 3 years, with many of those children having attended since the beginning of the school.

The school operates from Monday to Saturday offering both group classes and private lessons, with approximately 150 students attending weekly in winter, and 200 in summer.
