DESCRIPTION

The most popular and versatile of all polyester yachting braids. A 16 plait jacket over 8 plait core provides high strength and tenacity with excellent resistance to abrasion and hydrolysis. The outer sheath has a sheen finish which facilitates smooth transition through blocks and sheaves whilst retaining grip on winches, windlass and jammers. It is manufactured in natural white as well as with coloured traces for identification. Its protection from UV degradation; minimal stretch properties and good load carrying characteristics makes this an ideal rope for sheets, halyard tails, spinnaker sheets, lazy jacks and reefing/furling systems. Ends can be heat welded.
