L J D111-42 ft Gentlemans launch, Beam 15ft- Built by JOHN DAVIS heralding from the family of DAVISTOWN Central Coast Named after the DAVIS family Historic Boatbuilders.
The name of the vessel is LJD111 ( Lila John Davis) Rego JB801N Built in the late 80s by John Davis and Brother in law Ron Johnson (shipwright). Pre purchase inspection was carried out in March 2006 byHOLMES MARINE .of which I have the original. John (TOBY) hand picked the spotted gum timbers and knees etc out of his milling forests having owned milling operations East Coast.
The vessel is 42 foot long plus a 3 ft marlin board and has a beam of 15ft and drawing 4.5 feet.
Hull timbers white box hardwood and knees. Decks marine ply sheathed and has internal trims in Australian Red Cedar.
All hull Timbers pre treated with copper napthinate and internally Red Leaded.
Silicon Bronze fastenings used throughout construction.
Engines Two by Ford Lehman 120hp naturally aspirated diesels through Reduction Borg Warner velvet drives. All with less than 200 actual engine running hrs work.
Diesel generator BUKH 10hp 240 volt.
Has a permanent battery charger and converter in place so 12 and 24v can be used onboard.
Has 12v 240v fridge freezer, Micro wave, gas stove, Great 240v plus engine hot water system.
Emergency engine pumping and deck wash, bilge pump system with backup
Toilet shower with holding tank , galley , 4 berth , great open cockpit area with down stair station,Hydraulic Steering, GPS 27Meg, Uhf, fishfinders, stereo etc.
The boat has a large fwd twin berth with bulk storage under and storage under floor.
The dinette folds down to a large double as well.
