Manufactured with a tough naval brass outer sleeve these bearings are designed for common use in strut and stern tube mounts and can be used effectively as rudder-stock and pintle bushings.
The external brass shell is machined and polished to provide easy fitting while the bearing diameters are precision machined to the designated shaft size with the correct clearance for efficient water lubrication.
The specially compounded nitrile rubber is securely bonded to the shell with all tolerances maintained to ensure proper lubrication integrity.
Johnson employs the highest quality materials that are inherently resistant to all known chemicals, oil and grease to ensure a non-corrosive anti-electrolytic bearing.
