Compact Universal Single Outboard Steering Kit (5.2 turn) 296004

DESCRIPTION

Complete packaged outboard hydraulic steering systems. Ultra sleek cylinder design requires less space around the engine and improves the appearance of motor well. Cylinder remains stationary eliminating the chafing and wear of hoses associated with other systems. Accepts port or starboard hose connections. Neatly mounts to most most V-4 and V-6 outboards without using the tilt tube. Recommended for 75hp and up.

The Hynautic Compact Universal Base-Mount steering cylinder is available as a seperate component, or to simplify purchasing we offer two single outboard engine basic complete systems.


Note: The 296106 steering cylinder suits most brands of outboards. Honda outboards 90HP and over have a different steering geometry that requires a special cylinder 296107.

Cylinder Specifications:
Anodised alloy and stainless steel construction. 147.5cc (9.0cu. in) displacement, 38.1mm (1.5") bore, 197mm (7.75")stroke. Rated to 300HP for single outboard applications, 450HP for twin outboard non counter rotating applications and 600HP for twin outboard counter rotating applications.

For twin engine single single cylinder applications an additional 291198 tie bar will be required. For twin engine twin cylinder applications refer to kit 296008.

2 x 293614 Connector fitting 3/8äó tube - 1/4 NPT
1 x 292997 Nylon semi rigid tube kit 15m

3 x 291902 Hydraulic oil 1 litre

For extra steering station add:
1 x 291502 Helm - Seastar 1.7 front mount
1 x 293604 Add a station/pilot fitting kit
1 x 291902 1 litre Teleflex oil

This kit has 5.2 turns lock to lock- Balanced.
