Swage Pliers

DESCRIPTION

Hand swage pliers are used to apply crimp swages of copper or alloy to rigging wire.
Jaws are made from alloy tool steel, hardened and tempered, pre-adjusted ready for use.
After a period of time wear in the handles may occur. Being adjustable to compensate for this natural wear, adjustment can easily be made by turning the jaw bolt arrow inward one notch towards the centre of the jaw.

Check that the handles spring open to leave a gap of approximately 7mm between the handle stops.
