1971 Honda CL350 Scrambler
Hondaâs first production scrambler, a 250cc CL72, was released to the US market in 1962. Honda dealers and off-road racers Dave Ekins (brother of Bud Ekins) and Bill Robertson Jr. rode a pair of CL72s 963 miles in less than 40 hours in a nonstop race against the clock from Tijuana to La Paz. The result put Honda on the US map and overnight 250 scramblers were soon on showroom floors around the country.
Despite their success in the dirt, Honda didnât capitalise until 1968 when it released the CL350 with upswept pipes and features more useful for off-road use.
This 1971 example belongs to a very large Ital collection and is in super patina perfect original condition. Travelled only 5,000 miles in its 47 years, this is a must for any early Honda or Japanese collector. Located with our Ital agent, the advertised price includes shipping Italy to , including all taxes & arrival charges.
