Hello, I'm the sweet little lady named River!I'm a sensitive soul who is looking for a special human to assist a lovely cat like myself to overcome the rough start I had in life. Someone who'll help me blossom into the wonderful cat-panion I know I can be!
My new human companion will need to understand that when they take me home, I will likely be quite fearful and take time to adjust, settle and start to relax into my new castle. Patience, kindness and gentle encouragement will go along way in helping me find my 'brave'. Just a helpful hint...I really like warm cooked chicken. Yep, the way to my heart is through my stomach :)
My purr-fect home will one thats quiet and calm. One where I'm loved unconditionally, kept well fed and cared for whilst living a safe INDOOR lifestyle.
I'll spend my days laying on the couch or basking on a sunny window sill, and taking my time to soak up all the great things in life while not having to worry about scary dangerous outside like ticks, snakes or cars!
