Greetings Earthlings, Marcus here. Now, you're probably thinking with a greeting like that, that I'm some sort of alien!! Well, while I think I'm actually just a cat, I do feel a little not-myself at the moment. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm in transit between my old home and the new - hence the Alien allusion! Anyhow, cosmic characters aside, I'm a sweet and affectionate, but shy boy. Until I feel I've got my paws firmly on terra firma, I'll likely be quite fearful and take time to adjust, settle and start to relax. Patience is key! Starting me in a small, quiet room will greatly aid my transition to earth life. You'll know when the time is right for me to explore my territory further: I'll begin to solicit gentle attention, bunting you, leaning in for attention, and the ultimate sign, gentle purring! But of course, a quick way to my heart is through my tummy: wet food such as chicken is my favourite food and I'm quite partial to Whiskas dry as well. I'm okay with kids but perhaps older ones who know how to respond to a sensitive cat. And I'm okay around other cats too: quite the social boy. I'm easy to handle and love spending time with my human friends.
