DESCRIPTION

Used 2600mm OZ Buckets Excavator Mud Batter Bucket suit 23-48 Ton machines.

This is a heavily engineered, quality built bucket Made in Australia by OZ Buckets.

*** Features:

It has a wide & deep profile for a massive 2.42 cubic meter capacity.

It has tapered sides so mud slides out easily and minimises side resistance.

There are extra wear plates welded inside at each of the 4x 45 degree angle bends (see pics# 1, 2, 6).
There are also thick extra wear strips welded on the sides, at the back, and all underneath for extra durability (see pic# 10).

*** Condition:

This bucket seems to have only ever been used on the front cutting edge to scrape or level hard ground. The front cutting edge has substantial wear and could use some extra reinforcing welded on.
But the inside back of the bucket has places were it is perfectly smooth and still has the original black paint on it! (see pic# 1).
Also, all the wear strips on the sides, back and bottom have almost zero wear.
We suspect it has never taken a full scoop of dirt in its life.

Two other points we have noticed:
1. The internal supporting ribs each have a crack near the middle (see pic# 7), this is of minimal concern.
2. However, there are cracks around the welds of the Ear Plates at the highest point of the bucket (see pic# 8), these run about 8-10 inches long, but do not continue all the way to the front or all the way down the back to the bottom. So for light to medium duty work (scooping up uncompacted dirt, sand, mud etc.), the headstock is not likely to fall off anytime soon. But if the cracks are fully ground out with a grinder and re-welded properly (3-5 hours work?), this bucket will be good to go for demanding jobs again.

* Between the Ears (BTE): 392mm Between the inside Ear Bosses (which can be shaved back up to 453mm between the Ear Plates if you need more inside width for your hitch or dipper arm to fit in).
