DESCRIPTION
Extras: cassette radio, rear window demister, mudflaps, completely base model!

Regrettable sale but my circumstances have changed. Maintained throughout my ownership as this is my mode of transport so it's driven nearly everyday and have enjoyed many thousands of kilometres on the road. Major service carried out 5 years ago, new interior trim fitted among things (floor carpet, roof lining, boot carpet, all seats),can send list of work done and parts fitted, have service history for the past 10 years. Minor rust repairs were done late last year along with all engine mounts replaced, all four shock absorbers/dampers replaced, both driveshafts complete replaced, all front sway bar drop link bushes replaced and radiator replaced/recore fitted. Pros: all original/unmodified and have tried to keep the car stock with replacement parts as best as possible. Reliable, have driven interstate with the car (Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra,Hobart) trouble free. Economical, measured 6.5l/100km on continuous highway use (unloaded), 7.0- 7.4l/100km mixed (Melbourne city driving), 8.3l/100km winter urban use (cold starting, continuous stop-start traffic) Cons: -sadly the paintwork, exterior trim and interior plastic trim isn't nice, has been resprayed and touched up many times over the years, would suit someone who if they want to respray would have a good base to start with as minor rust has always been cleaned off and touched up. If you want 'patina' then this is for you. -in heavy rain some water/moisture does enter the boot/spare wheel well and makes the corner of the roof lining damp. -one exhaust manifold stud has broken off but no exhaust leak -no.1 cylinder spark plug bore thread has been damaged at some stage and needs sealing paste at every spark plug replacement to prevent blowby. Recommend repairing the thread with cylinder head removed as there is no space to repair in situ. -small mark on roof lining, sadly material got pierced. Registered till November 2025
