DESCRIPTION
Selling my original one owner white car. It drives on four wheels, has air in the tires, a motor, a steering wheel, polished wheel nuts, and no lithium batteries! I think we're off to a good start. Seriously though I am going to miss this Ford Ranger 3.2 litre 6 speed auto, 4 x 4 XLS Hi rider. By far one of the most comfortable vehicles, I have ever driven. Great road handling, balanced suspension, great steering response, plenty of power, good fuel consumption, really quiet and these cars look bloody good. On long trips, when you stop and get out, you don't suffer from driver fatigue, they really are that comfortable and a joy to drive. The Rangers paint, panels, bonnet and tailgate are all original. The interior seats are immaculate. This Ranger PX3 is in extremely good condition. Currently registered until Sept 2025. Being an XLS hi rider, it came with an extra $1,500.00 worth of upgrades such as alloy rims and GPS. Since owning it, I have installed some extra mods because my wife and I wanted to do some "light" adventure four-wheel driving around some parts of Australia. We did the Gibb River Road. Amazing! Even better, we went early in the season and the road had been freshly graded. So much for 4-wheel driving. The upgrades I have added, cost approx. $6 k. These mods are as follows, ARB 140 litre fuel tank. Upgrades to Low Beam / High Beam Ranger lights with STEDI LED globes. Front heavy duty tow hooks/ rock bumpers. Hayman Reese tow bar, hitch and wiring harness. Hayman Reese Electric brake controller. Double tinted windows that are extra dark on passenger & rear windows. Premium BOSS Rear suspension air bags (Never, ever pumped over 4 psi). EGR side steps, Ford rear tub liner. Rear Ute tub tailgate EGR dust gaskets. Extra hold down points in the ute tub. TUFF soft Toneau cover. Dash mat. WET SEAT front seat covers and a NEOPRENE rear seat cover. SANDGRABBER floor mat covers, front and rear. Aerial wiring installed for UHF radio. Fridge slide located in tub. Bonnet protector. Heavy duty wiring installed to a rear Anderson plug. Heavy duty wiring and trigger wiring installed into tub to a 3 pin Anderson plug, for lithium battery charging or general power. The Ranger has only towed a small pop top Icon camper. Its allowed gross is two ton. Never went over 1.8 ton. I would forget that I was towing because of the Rangers 3.2 litre diesel motor power, and the auto transmission works an absolute dream. The Ranger has only towed a small caravan for approx. 6,000 km. The rest is general driving and no beach driving. Has near new tires, Bridgestone HTs. approx. 2000 km on them, if that. Always serviced at or close to 10,000 km's. All books and service records. Premium Bendix heavy duty front brake pads installed before trip. Never had a bull-bar or winch nor a snorkel. I have no need in wanting to do any deep-water crossings. Never did, never will! Overall, this is a bloody good car. Normally when I trade to a new car, I get excited. Not this time. I will miss this car. I'm only selling it because of the km's, meaning time for me to trade. For a faster response, please contact John via phone. Kind regards John.
