Daimler Sovereign 420 1966 Windsor Blue with Cream leather interior - This rare compact Daimler saloon has been prepared to a high standard. Distinguished from the Jaguar 420 by a hand beaten brass grill and D insignia, it is powered by the 4.2 Litre XK twin overhead cam engine with Twin SU Carburetor's and producing 245 bhp. Standard with Power Steering, Independent rear suspension and Disc brakes all round. Finished with Burr Walnut woodwork and Cream Leather interior. According to Wemyss Auctioneers, this car No 29 was driven around Brands Hatch by Sir Jack Brabham at a Daimler demonstration Day in 1966. It arrived in Australia in 1970 and was restored in 2010. Just 5,824 Daimler Sovereigns were produced between 1966 and 1969 and it is unknown how many of these have survived today. We are a Est. 1965, family-owned and run.
