I bought this van from my Sprinter mechanic, and fitted it out. My mechanic specialises in Mercedes Sprinters, looking after Patient Transport fleets. This van, however, was used to transport light loads between Melbourne and Sydney. It's had an easy life, has been driven on easy highways and has been fully serviced since new. Runs smoothly and will keep going forever.

This van is designed to be off grid. I'm a fulltime vanlifer, so an emphasis on power and water are important in the fitout.

ELECTRICS
3 x 175W solar panels provide charge for the 2 x 200aH lithium batteries. It is fitted out with Victron equipment: DC-DC charger, MPPT smart solar charge, 3kW inverter/charger.
As well as solar, the batteries are also charged while the engine is running, and can be plugged into an external 240V outlet, although I've never had to.
Because there is abundant power there is no need for LPG. Cooking is done with induction cooktop (included). Toaster & kettle are also included.
You can always add extra portable cookers if you want.

HOT WATER
The HWS is elite. It is a DieselHeat hot water system, fuelled from the vehicle's diesel tank. This supplies consistent hot water at any pressure to the shower and 2 sinks - hand basin inside, and kitchen sink out the back. There is no wasted water getting the temperature right.
The shower works as well as most normal, domestic showers. The 2 rear doors are fitted with a shower rail and screen, so although the shower is external, it is private - and not cramped like internal showers.

HEATER
TheDieselHeat system also feeds an outlet inside the rear space.

WATER
There are 3 x 43L water tanks connected together. Depending on how efficient you are with your water use, this will last a few days at least, longer if you don't have long showers. Re filled via any garden hose fittings.

BED
The queen size mattress is permanent and very comfortable. No need to convert seating into an arrangement of thin cushions that come apart. This is a proper bed.

STORAGE
There is plenty of storage, including a wardrobe for hanging, drawers, overhead shelves and plenty of room under the bed. There is also a roof deck. I haven't fitted the overhead shelves or under bed storage with cabinets, because most van owners have specific requirements - bikes, boards, fishing rods etc. However if you would like modifications, we can discuss.

OTHER STUFF
The van comes with an LG dual zone 80L fridge freezer.
The passenger seat swivels, to provide a comfortable chair.
There is a 3M Dometic awning attached to the side for shade and weather protection.

This van is a good size for parking and fuel efficiency, and is low key for stealth parking. It's comfortable and suitable for one person to live in fulltime, or a couple for getaways. Being able to head off anywhere with the ability to change plans on the hop, knowing that there is always good power, water, food in the fridge, and a comfortable bed is very reassuring. Having a really nice hot shower is great bonus.

I was hoping to do this van up and make some money, however the market has shifted, and I need to sell this so I can move on. You will have a hard time finding a similar van with as good power and water, which won't seem important until it runs out. At the listed price I am selling at a loss, which means whoever buys it gets a bargain.
