TAIL FEATHER CAMPER

DESCRIPTION

The Tail Feather Camper is light enough to be towed by most four cylinder cars. It's quick to set up, easy to manoevre, and economical to tow.  It has a tare weight of 500kg, and can be towed by a Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3, and even the Honda Jazz. Tail Feather Camping is simple, affordable, and caters for solo travelers, couples, and even families with children (just add a quick to erect Oz Tent to the rear)

The Tail Feather has a ball weight of just 50kg, being the mass transferred by the camper onto the rear of your towing vehicle. When determining whether your small or medium car is capable of towing a Tail Feather refer to your vehicle's handbook. Ball Weight (needs to be greater than 50 kg) GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) of a braked trailer (needs to be greater than 700kg (allows for up to 200 kg of equipment, even more if you have a Corolla) Please note: Some medium, and most large vehicles can tow a Tail Feather Camper that is not fitted with brakes. Most small vehicles however, will require a braked Tail Feather Camper.

A "MODULAR POD" ON WHEELS
The Tail Feather Camper is available as a Drive-Away Camper fully assembled on an Australian designed and manufactured steel or aluminium trailer or as a DIY Kit.

The DIY Kit is available for immediate pick up. Waiting period for a Drive Away Camper is dependent on type and specifications of the trailer.

FULLY INSULATED
The Tail Feather offers a comfortable living and sleeping space in both hot and cold weather conditions. The twelve polyethylene panels, two roof sections, and two rear doors are all fully insulated. Close the camper up in cold weather, and it heats up quickly. Open the roof hatches, side windows and two rear doors in hot weather, and it is surprisingly cool.

MULTIPLE SLEEPING OPTIONS
The Tail Feather comes standard with a four seat dinette that converts into:
​​A double bed with dimensions (1870 mm x  1440 mm)
​Additional jump seats can be purchased in order to create:
Two singles with a length of 2020 mm, or
A Queen size bed with dimensions: 2020 mm x 1870 mm

STANDARD INCLUSIONS
Besides the actual pod, the standard Tail Feather inclusions are: a dinette that converts into a double bed; bench top with under bench storage, hanging canvas shelves; marine carpet, curtains x 4; window privacy screens x 4; 12 volt light switch and fire extinguisher.
