DESCRIPTION

Includes new 68 Amp alternator, mounting brackets, drive belt, pulley, wiring, hardware and instructions. Converts model 470 aluminium block Mercuiser engines serial number 4625580 & up with statos charing system and water cooled voltage regulator system. Fuse Kit (18-8220 sold separately) is required on engines with a Delco starter (round solenoid mounted to starter). Prestolite starters with remote solenoid DO NOT require fuse kit. Visually inspect starter prior to ordering conversion kit. 18-5953 Has many other applications and is a fully spark protected marine alternator covered with a full 12 month warranty.
