A fully automatic electronic key machine for cutting side-milled high security automotive keys to code or sample. Self-contained, accurate and incredibly easy to use, the Silca Viper is the preferred choice for small, medium or large automotive locksmiths.

Totally self-contained, the Viper allows side-milled high security automotive keys to be cut to code automatically, and duplication is also possible via decode-and-recode routine.

Key cutting is achieved via any one of these methods:

Cut to code: simply enter the keyblank and code number to be cut and the machine prompts the operator to position the blank in the correct jaw.
Cut to sample: choosing this option prompts the operator to insert the customer's original key for decoding. The machine reads the measurements of the original key and compares these with a database. This process allows the machine to suggest the original code & specifications from a worn key. If the locksmith proceeds, a new factory specification key can be produced from original (often worn) keys.
Cut to bitting: if you have rekeyed a lock, then you'll want to be able to enter the actual bitting of the key to be produced. Simply select the key-blank and enter the cuts to be made, and the machine responds in a matter of seconds with a perfectly cut key.
With an extensive onboard database of codes, code series, space & depth measurements and keyblank information, the machine can cut any modern automotive high security key via the methods described above.

The Viper has some exciting and unique features which make it easier to use than many alternatives:

3-way integrated clamp: the three way clamp allows all known high-security automotive keys to be held securely, and because the clamp is a 3-in-1 design, there's no need to recalibrate or use special tools to change the clamp.
Onboard code series: the entire code series is onboard, meaning you can simply enter the keyblank number and code number to be cut, and let the machine do the work.
